GREETINGS FROM DUBLIN!

                                                                          We're back!

         Greetings from Bluefeather Ireland!

Some of you already know about Bluefeather.

Spanning at least two decades, our nationally and internationally recognized school was visited by thousands of satisfied students of all age-groups and from all over the world.

We closed the school some years ago when my wife, Marie-Claire, died of cancer. Many of you who have been here may have known Marie-Claire, as she was also our accommodation manager for many years.

Now I am very pleased to tell you that (from early 2010) we are re-opening! After working with students of all age-groups and at all levels for a generation, we have now chosen to specialise in the exact requirements of each of students from beginning to end. Specialist courses are run as classes of two, three or four students who arrive together as a class. The course has been designed in advance to meet the students' particular requirements. There is no waste. No time is lost. No student is lost in a larger group of mixed levels, goals or abilities. All the advantages of a 1:1 lesson are combined with the added advantage of being able to work together with two or three other students working together towards the same objective.

Students have asked me over the years: 'How long do I need to stay in Ireland to improve my English?'  My answer is always the same: it's the quality of time that matters, not the quantity. You can make a quantum leap in your progress in English in one week if the quality is provided.

But what do you mean by quality? you may ask.

Quality, in this case, is complete attention to all your language requirements. Quality is empathy, when the teacher imagines being you and does everything he or she can do to optimise your potential and reach your goal. That is why we specialise in your exact needs from beginning to end.

Only the most experienced teachers can imagine exactly what it is like to be their student from the beginning to the end of the course.

Only then can true quality teaching and true learning take place.
